Writers woes. There will come a day … (venting)

Writers. Readers won’t like your work, not all of them anyway. It doesn’t matter. Keep writing. The truth is that, throughout your career, you will be a victim of abandonment. Even after you toil for years, putting sweat and tears into a story, readers and “friends” will judge and disappear like the winds of change, because you weren’t good enough for them, and all the hard work was not worthy of their respect. Keep writing. Let them be who they want to be. Sooner or later they will see your talents shine. And when they come back, well, a different You will know the truth of them. It’s all good, because you are writing, and all you need say is “dilligaf.” I’m smiling. There will come a day….
