The Morrow Wind

Just thought I’d move this to the top, for my own sake. A reminder, if you will.

Erik S. Lehman

Watch it wash the shimmering plains
Golden questions of past
Seeded in grains
Now we ask
For solutions sown
And warily does Life answer:
Joy does suffer
When too much is known

But do not fret
For never-ending
The story spins
No past
No present
Only a whisper within

It beckons
Your worries echo hollow
For a peaceful life is pulled
By the morrow wind
No death nor sin
Fills a truthful din
‘Tis only the sound
Of a morrow wind … wind … wind …
